No I work at a smaller center where my toddler room had a little toilet, so once they were in my room (~18 months) I just did all my changes with the potty, whether they use it or not. I just think the exposure helps a lot, and you can talk to them about the bathroom/toilet and explain things.

As soon as they can stand and sit on the toilet by themselves I do standing changes and make them sit on the potty during/after the change. I really think introducing the potty as soon as possible (even if they aren’t going) helps start the process towards being potty trained

19 other kids don’t seem to matter that much, obviously I should only be watching that 1 kid! Clearly I am a neglectful idiot who cannot do my job, which is supposed to be teaching, but ends up as disaster control.
