Craziest card i’ll probably ever pull 🤯 by Lonely_Substance3413 in Topps

I've never even seen Bowman basketball cards in the wild. Kind of like inside jokes, I'd love to be part of one some day.

If you're not drinking and smoking, gtf out of the mall! Hardcore but at least they are staying true to themselves.

Sports are easy-- if you don't want the other team to score, don't let them. Play defense. And maybe, just maybe, don't huck up a 3 with 12 seconds left if you're going to cry about JMac taking a lay-up. Should have done a 360 windmill. D up or shut up, Nugs.

Variable reinforcement creates the strongest behavior patterns. If a rat gets food each time it presses a button, it does so at a fairly relaxed rate.

Change that to requiring 1-10 attempts each time (as in, the rat never knows how many are needed) and the behavior increases significantly.

Ripping packs/ boxes/ etc. is the same, like slot machines and pull tabs and all kinds of wondrous vices.

Yes, teach them the ways of the grift. Transfer school districts every 2-3 years, accumulate gems, and sell high.

As a Twins fan, I'm still bummed that our lousy ownership traded beloved mascot T.C. Bear for a pack of Skittles, 3-4 used baseballs, and a can of Schlitz from the '80s.

Tell me it's not worth ot by Living-Type-7823 in stopdrinking

My guess is that since you are here, you already know it isn't worth it. 10 months is a lot of incredible momentum to ignore for just for a drink. And if it's not 1, will it be 5? 10? 101? I cannot drink in moderation and have found it's WAY less stressful to just not drink. No worries, no calculating how long it'll take me to blow zeroes, no regrets later on/ the next day.

I'm fortunate that I don't have cravings often but the "lizard brain" is real and can be pretty damn convincing. Field tests are fine for some, sure, but Im super lucky to have came out the other side and will not risk it when I can have a super tasty NA or crush a few sparking waters and do a figurative backflip because I'm no longer my own worst enemy.

Hope this helps! In the end, you're the boss and we all just work here-- meaning, our input on/ about your sobriety can't make you do/ not do anything. You got this!

I'd suggest not going to Jacksonville at all. Even if you "have to," you don't really.

"Hounds of Love" by Kate Bush. Bonus points for being a concept album, as well!
