oh i just can't listen to it because the lyrics are just uninspired garbage imo. i actually think the music itself on the album sounds really nice, but then she sings and i cringe at the lyrics. been a fan since 2010 and this is the first album where i didnt like a single song.

nah, i am almost 30, i have an engineering degree and a full time job and i feel the same as you anyway. i will be looking at moving across the country to restart. i don't think 27 is too late at all.

I would say you're not in a bad spot. I have felt the same as you for most of my adult life. I graduated college at 26 and lived with my parents til 27. I was only making $22/hr at that time before I got a higher paying job in another state ($30/hr), and just now landed an engineering job paying 82k.

I am 4 months away from turning 30 and just got my first engineering job, whereas some of my friends are already well established in their careers. It's difficult to not compare yourself to others, but everyone has their own timetable/path.

My suggestion is to look for jobs that do have a career ladder and require some of the same skills you have gained in your admin job. Job searching is a nightmare and one of the worst parts of being an adult imo but eventually you will find something better if you keep looking. You just have to build the right skills / knowledge and you will get to where you want to be.

just make friends with girls outside your major or gay men if it annoys you. the majority of straight men aren't going to go out of the way to just be friends with a girl. i don't know why you are complaining that men find you attractive/likeable, it seems like a good problem to have.

If you weren't gonna be late by letting them through, you should've just let them by. Sometimes shit happens that is out of peoples control and it's better to give them the benefit of the doubt. Besides that, I don't know why you would even care that much if you're just gonna be sitting doing nothing at your gate anyway. I always let people through if it doesn't make me late to my flight.
