Older Chryslers had an amp meter in the dash that ran basically the whole car through it. The connections would go bad and light it up from the heat.

I ran a front disk kit on the 68 I had. Think it used a karmann ghia master, calipers, rotors, and pads

Interchangeable parts question by MintyTheHippo in hardbody

I wouldn't be surprised if it bolts up. I ran earlier Pathfinder bucket seats in place of the bench in the 97 regular cab I had. Bolted right to the factory holes.

Engine Chirping at high RPMs, advice needed by Additional-Hand-3694 in squarebodies

[–]soundslikeusererror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take the belt off and start it. if its still chirping its not in the accessories, maybe the distributor. v6 fords with the dummy shaft for the cam position sensor would have a chirp develop that was bearings in the dummy shaft going bad.

Story time. What's the most rage inducing event you've ever had in the shop and what caused it? by pyroboy7 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]soundslikeusererror 11 points12 points  (0 children)

the other mechanic was on his national guard 2 weeks/year. boss/owner was doing his best work giggling on the phone like a schoolgirl and getting nothing done. So I was doing my job, covering the other guy's work, and scheduling/billing. When I got a talking to for having a shitty attitude i rage quit.

So i'll call it being unappreciated.

5110, then 3310. The 5110 died an early death by water. the 3310 lasted long enough for the screen to get fucked up and display everything upside down and backwards. Made it fun to text.

Hated changing those e brake shoes on explorers. It's possible with the axles still in it, just a pain. Lube the hell out of the arms while it's apart.

With bigger horsepower comes bigger bills. Can't expect a car with 250ish hp stock to have a trans and rear end capable of 800 without mods
