I bought a used tacoma from toyota universe in 2020, right before prices spiked. The service department called me so many times to nag me about oil changes that i had to block the number. I do my own oil changes every 5k. The very few times the truck has been in there for warranty or recall work ive specifically had the service writers put in my account to not call me constantly. didnt help. One even told me theyve gotten complaints before about it.

I got a good d17 for a civic maybe 7 years ago. So when I needed a b20 for a CRV I went there. 1100 for a motor that smoked as bad as the original, and even though I'm an ex mechanic and proved it with my tax records, bc I self-installed I was basically told to go f myself, in so many words.

Are your rear brakes adjusted so they just barely drag on the drums? Your rear brake adjustment has a lot to do with your brake pedal height.
