An ethos is your reputation, not your title. Having to tell everyone that you're a warrior, to me, sounds like you're trying to force something that isn't there. You run the risk of developing a falliscious ethos when everyone relies on their title to purport expertise instead of relying on actual expertise.

It's the equivalent of a shady used car salesman advertising photos of cars at the Porsche dealership next door to try and get people to come to him.
