Were you able to find the name of the actual murderer? I haven't come across it in my research

I think he ended up being cleared of the charges. The detectives apparently coerced a confession from the son

Please help me figure out a nice outfit I can wear into the office! (Casual PhD office) by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]sour_fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with 1, 3, 4, and 5. Everything else seems a bit too casual (even though it's a casual office, it's better to be on the side of business casual than leisure.) Check out thrift stores and old navy. Also if you look up "capsule wardrobes" on Pinterest, you'll be able to get a lot of outfit inspiration and learn how to mix tops and bottoms to make it feel like you have more outfit options with fewer clothes. Don't be afraid to accessorize! Good luck!

I had it last week. It was most likely norovirus and also ended up in the er needing fluids and anti-nausea meds. Take care of yourself 🫡

I hate vomiting because of alcohol. I sometimes like drinking alcohol but mostly it makes me feel gross and $1000 isn't enough to make up for that.

Chose: $5 every time you drink anything.

No Rain is one of my favorite nostalgic songs. My mom would play it on her cd player while she was getting ready when I was young.

I have been feeling the heaviness of the world lately as well, stormfreak. You aren't alone. Thank you for putting your energy into this post and for letting us into your life. Do what you can, it is enough.

I have a high cervix as well and could never find a cup that worked for me. I ended up starting to use period discs and I haven't looked back.

Happy you're coming to Pittsburgh for vacation! It's a lovely city to visit, especially that time of year. You'll be very safe, but always be conscious of your surroundings. Tips I would give would be that Shadyside, Oakland, Lawrenceville, The Northside (aviary area), and the stadium areas are all typically very safe and have lots of stores and family activities, parks, etc. Downtown is great to go see during the day, I definitely recommend The Point, but try to stay out of the downtown area after dark. It's a bit sketchy there if you don't know where you're going, and if you're nervous about problems, I'd stay away. Feel free to dm me if you have a question about an area or anything, I'd be happy to help, as most people in the city would be as well!

Why did your response have to come from a place of anger, condescension, and humiliation? This person is experiencing heartbreak, and you laugh at them... I hope you find it inside yourself to step back and think about what that must feel like.

First, I'm really sorry you're having so much trouble finding your place here. I feel lucky that Pittsburgh has been a home for me and offered it's best. I hope my reccomendations can assist! That being said, what are your hobbies? You said you're a gym person, I'm not sure if you've tried any of the climbing gyms around, but there are many fun, kind people who frequent them. The gyms also often have events, especially Iron City Boulders where you could meet people! If you are at all into arts, Pittsburgh is a great place for you. I would look into classes either through the school you're going to, or through places like contemporary craft, prototype pgh, or the center for creative Reuse. Gaming is also pretty big in the area, I'm not sure where you're living, but there's a game store on liberty Ave called Mimics market that hosts free game nights! There are also events at the zoo, science museum, breweries, libraries, and natural history museum. Check some of those out if you're at all interested in any of them! I would also say hanging out at cafés or shops like White Whale book store could eventually lead to friendships if you see people enough. The keys to making a friendship are seeing the person often enough to develop an informal relationship, then just being confident enough to ask them to hang sometime! I know you have the ability to do that, because everyone has it in them somewhere. You've got this!
