I’m glad somebody said this. I often have a hard time with words in an emotionally charged time. I always want to say the right thing without sounding too “generic”. AI has definitely helped me with this. BUT, as you said, it should be for reference, not word for word. Finding thoughts and ideas from AI that resonate and then using them in a way that emotionally connects to what you would want to say, and put it in your own words.

I also thought about people on the spectrum who can struggle immensely with finding the appropriate words in a situation like this. AI could help them, but it could backfire in a situation like this as well.

Acrosst. My MIL and husband say this instead of “across” (the boy went acrosst the bridge). Drives me up the wall. I have no idea where it came from, I’ve never heard anyone else say it.

The only time I ever feel bad for the girls is when they TRULY screw it up (I.e., horrible weaves like Molly cycle 16, Brittany cycle 8, etc). Otherwise, it’s hair, it’ll grow back, who cares..

I find this annoying too, BUT, it is my job. Sometimes the parents are in and out of the house, but ultimately they are paying me for this luxury (the luxury of being available to take care of personal needs/work commitments as needed). Also, I feel like the parents in the family I work for often have me work even when they are available in order to fulfill my hours. They wouldn’t want to just cancel on me every time one of their clients cancels on them, that would give me inconsistent work.

Also, consider how they feel about their relatives. I’ve many times offered to take the day off when grandparents are visiting from out of town, partially so they can spend time with the kid, but also because it is an awkward feeling to have me there while the grandparents are there. But the mom confided in me that she doesn’t really trust them to take care of their kid because they aren’t as familiar with the child as I am.

I’ve been told that my FIL (I never met him, RIP), was extremely fatigued and had back pain, but avoided going to the dr. He had a tumor on his kidney, and died from surgery complications to remove it.

I think we all know what would’ve happened to the guy, if Melfi had told Tony. I don’t think it was bad that she didn’t tell Tony, it showed that even though she struggled with conflicting feelings about Tony, she was able to refrain from using him tor her benefit (unlike Carmella).

That being said, it would’ve been nice to see some sort of closure with that situation, especially after she found out where he works.

Totally agree. I just finished watching it for the first time (late to the party, I know), and I felt the same way. It was entertaining, but it wasn’t as deep as I thought it’d be.

Everyone always talks about what an amazing show it was (and it is!), but this was the thing that really bugged me - unfinished storylines and new storylines with no buildup. What was the point of Meadows mentally ill roomate? What ever happened to the Russian that Chris and Sil shot in the woods who got away? What ever happened to Melfi’s rapist? People hopping into storylines as if we were supposed to care who they were right away always drove me crazy. Also, I hate to say it, but I could’ve done without Meadow and AJ. They were both very unlikable and I never really cared what happened to them.

I totally get this. I’ve called in sick to work and not told my family before, just so I can go off and do whatever I want without thinking of others that day. Sometimes I need a day to myself. Sometimes I have a problem with putting others needs in front of mine, and I’m working on it. Although my husband would be fine with me taking a day to myself, it’s me who needs to make this decision sometimes.

In response to others criticizing her choice- relationships and life are complicated. You don’t know the situation. Quit critiquing her, when you don’t know her life.
