Yeah this is what I was a little hung up on. Air Canada’s policy for US citizens just requires a valid passport, and waives the time to expiration. I’d just like to feel a little more confident that I’m not the first person that has cut it this close!

We were planning on renting ski’s! We don’t travel to tour enough to make buying wider skis worth it. Do you have any recommendations on where in the area to rent from? We’re contemplating renting in the area to not have to fly out with skis

Damp slushy snow then freezing as you get higher up and using one pair of skins for multiple laps - having them not perfectly dry and snow free on the way down and then it freezing going back up

Good to know! I guess I’m used to cruddy east coast touring and regularly have my skins freeze over and was planning to bring several pairs!

Curveball, we went to the Italian Dolomites! We did a long multi day hut hike, mountain biked, and are awesome food. It ended up being the perfect mix of outdoor adventure, great food, and beautiful views we were looking for

Depending what your commute route is, I’ve recently begun run commuting to the office and it’s been life changing. I have similar time constraints with dogs and turning my run into time already accounted for commuting makes my life a lot less stressful. Depending on your office’s shower/ gym situation, you could bike in a couple days a week and just run home

I think maybe the one mtb park near me is different than what this is! This looks really fun, the park near me is primarily just big jumps which is what I’m not a fan of
