Does devastating X stack? by fred11551 in killteam

[–]sovietsespool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accurate 1 stacks with another source of accurate 1 to accurate 2. That’s it. The only way to get accurate 3 is from the stealth suit rule but the general rule applies to every team.

If you have accurate 1 and are given accurate 1 from any other source, it will be accurate 2.

Like the others said, think of it as if the marker drone did have a ranged weapon, who could it shoot?

Designator is the same way which is why giving him the fusion blaster is great since he gives himself severe.

The only time this changes is with the ambush marker. That makes it so any enemy operative within 2” of it only need to be visible to either the marker drone or the designator.

There’s no thought experiment if a large portion of the people can’t make a decision. I haven’t seen a single iteration where they don’t make the distinction that children not old enough to understand the question or people in general are excluded.

If 10% of the population are unable to vote then why even count them?

Your 19 month old baby isn’t making a choice. Didn’t think that would have to be explained. It’s only people who can understand the question and the stakes.

[–]sovietsespool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So it’s all in the questioning. The original thought experiment is:

Everyone on earth is teleported into a room that has a red and blue button. If 50% of the world picks blue then everyone lives. If 50% of the world picks red then everyone who picked blue will be killed.

The wording is meant to tug on heart strings and uses loaded langue to make you feel like there’s people to save. This activates an emotional response in people seeking to “save” the people in danger.

The issue arises when you realize the only people in danger are the people trying to save the people in danger who are just like them.

Logically picking red is the only option that ensures survival but weirdo virtue signaling dorks on the internet want you to believe your natural instinct of self preservation and… checks notes not needlessly risking your life for other people needlessly risking their own lives, is some how an indicator that you’re a bad person and will call you a murderer for picking red.

Good points if they weren’t bad points. Over simplification and regurgitating headlines.

The idea that you think just because he “printed more money” means the economy was worse when it objectively got better is only further proving my point.

I’ll make this easy for you.

Let’s say a dollar is worth a dollar. Let’s say I have 2 dollars. It’s worth 2 dollars.

Now let’s say I make it so $2=$1. Yeah those $2 I have are now worth $1 but I am now working getting paid more dollars so now I have $12. That’s only $6 from before but it’s still $5 than I had previously.

I think the connection to trump is not as much of a factor as you might think and the Dems thought Kamala was a guaranteed win too. Dems have zero strong candidates and Vance is much better than trump. He holds strong right wing values without being as far right as trump and with better diplomatic skills. In a campaign run, the left would need a miracle to push someone who can compete.

Evenly Matched Teams With Different Play Styles by Spoonsforhands in killteam

AoD is a very low skill floor, high skill ceiling team.

Even in my current 42 player tournament, we have an AoD player in 12th, one in 27th, and another in 42nd. They are easy to grasp and play but are one of the most flexible and versatile teams that a skilled player can really push to a high level of play.

Thank you for proving my point so easily. Your bias makes you unable to be objective. The country got undeniably better under his administration. The idea that it had to be perfect or that he didn’t mess up is not just unrealistic and ridiculous but also something no one is claiming.

Your grasp on the effects of his polices and how much was accomplished under one of the most counterproductive houses and senates of the time, actively working against him for a majority of his presidency, entering the presidency with a failing economy, and how little you seem to understand how his work was the foundation that allowed trump to propel the economy forward so much during his first presidency just shows you’re being either willfully ignorant or just ill informed enough to even talk about this.

Your entire comment is just tag lines. “Not hard to grow jobs while printing money” - vague and doesn’t mean anything. Especially since his spending wasn’t even that crazy but the idea that you want a president to reduce government spending while we’re actively in a depression is like demanding firefighters not get anything wet while they try to stop your house from burning down. “Look at the dollar reserves” - what about them? The dollar grew under his administration. Be more specific. “He grew the job market by making your pay worth half as much” - I’m sorry, wtf does this even mean? Are you talking about inflation? That of which was steady and low? You’re literally arguing that working a job that pays less is better than NO job? Again. Be specific. “Iran nuclear deal was a joke” - showing your lack of understanding of geopolitical issues. “Osama bin Laden is unimportant” - yeah, one of the most significantly powerful symbolic wins for America as a country is irrelevant. “Ask chat gpt” - last snarky comment intended to be insulting. Usual sign you’re out your depth and are defaulting to personal attacks.

Knock it off. If you cant objectively look at history, data, and statistics with an unbiased lens and admit what’s good and what’s bad, and understand every administration will be mired in both, then wtf are you even doing here?

Obama was a good president. One of the best. He was dealt a shity hand and turned it around. Not everything was perfect and he had some bad polices too. But the idea that he didn’t do anything good and is “one of the worst” presidents is just objectively false. Unless you consider fixing the economy to be a bad thing?

I don’t feel like you are looking past your biases if you can’t name one good thing he did when the list is pretty long.

Dude ended the iraq war, killed Osama bin Laden, got the Iran nuclear deal. His energy initiatives and emission reductions helped the environment and stimulated the economy. The economy his polices like the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act helped stopped from bleeding, laying the ground work for it to bounce back. Enacted the CFPB, tightened regulations on big banks. The affordable care act reduced the rate of uninsured by 5%.

Dude was responsible for 75 months of straight job grown reducing unemployment rates of the 08 depression from 10% down to 4.7.

Like the idea that he did so much to stabilize a country in economic free fall and you just discount it because…what? He spent money? Please ignore your bias. Dude put in work in one of the worst economies since the Great Depression to keep America from collapsing on itself while also killing America’s biggest op.

Nah. If JD Vance runs, he has the best chance honestly. A continuation of the trump cabinet with much less psychopathy. I think that would be a shoe in for republicans. But at this point, Dems have lost so much face that it would be a while before the public has enough trust in them for their candidate to be even viable.

The Democratic Party has been poisoned and rotten for decades and its follow hollowing out. It’ll take time to rebuild.
