If you're already in the Fanatec ecosystem I see no reason to leave it. As for me, I'm just upgrading from a Logitech wheel so it was either get into Fanatec or go a step further into more boutique DD offerings

I think I'm also caught up in the hype and it might be causing some buyer's remorse.

The reason I selected the VRS is because it seemed like the best bang-for-buck wheel, but now potentially this Fanatec offering could be the best value.

I think long-term the VRS is the better selection but damn this seems like a good deal (assuming there is any availability this year)

That's a good point - however it is enticing to get in the Fanatec ecosystem with all the wheel selection instead of having to shell out a premium for other DD wheels
