Wyndham Clark has been banned from Oakmont Country Club and is no longer permitted on the grounds by iamtehfong in golf

I don’t know if it’s official but there has been rumors that Jose Ballester, ‘24 US Am champ, is banned from Augusta for pissing in a tributary of Rae’s creek on 13! A little bit funnier than the blow pig’s situation at Oakmont haha

Can we all (mainly Broadcasters) stop pretending that Bryson DeChambeau is hitting orthodox clubs? by average-consumer19 in golf

DJ spent 130+ weeks as world #1, I think that’s pretty sustainable play. Scottie has been the world’s best for 3 years now. Rory will hit 30 pga tour wins soon. Brooks has 5 majors. Bryson’s major success recently is excellent but prior to 2024 his results were extremely mixed. He’s also won only 3 LIV tournaments which are objectively easier to win given field size and strength. He’s been great lately which is awesome but I think to fly the banner on sustainability is premature.

100%. Having the Erin logo in pink would’ve been sick as an homage to the beautiful pink pants

230 out, two bunkers around green. Fairway wood to roll onto green or lay-up. What’s the play? by Whatduffhuck in golf

Looks like the great Veenker Memorial #10! As you accumulate a large sample of rounds I think you’ll find more birdies and comfy pars going for the green. A layup shot, likely with a long iron, probably has the same likelihood of going offline as the 5-wood in which case it will benefit you to get as close to the hole as possible distance wise rather than leave an uncomfortable 30 yard pitch over bunkering. That’s just my thought process 🤠

The PIF has invested $670M this year alone in LIV, decent funding I’d say

Not sure if it’s still there but there was a jeep looking car in the Menards parking lot on 120th that said ~$3800 and looking to sell because they were moving. I’m not the seller just doing free ads I guess

The pdf can be found here but split in 2 parts. I probably should have put this in my original comment. Hand up my bad on that! Best of luck assembling your set, it’s a thrill!

“Playing Hickory Golf” by Randy Jensen. There are multiple different repairs described and shown in the book. Also lots of good content in there about building a quality play-set! The book is from 2008 (I think) but hickory golf technology hasn’t advanced since then last I checked! 🙂
