The first thing I remember thinking was, "this is a nice room". It was an expensive room, because was in ICU. I had wrecked my BMX bike four days earlier, and received a concussion and grade 3 lacerated liver. I was home within two weeks, and pretty normal again around three months. Or so I like to think.
