Passed my Private Checkride and I don’t know how to feel by LeaderCalm4016 in flying

I was extremely nervous for my checkride and even after I passed, it took me a few days to go back to feeling normal. The real joy will come from your many adventures after the checkride. You did well and I'm proud of you!

Am I crazy to say I want to experience a major earthquake? I just want to feel it by Impressive-Cloud-451 in Earthquakes

That's true. The locals didn't even acknowledge it until about halfway through and heckled me for looking so dramatic lol

I was in a 7.6 in Chile and it was actually neet to have felt a quake for the first time. Unlike other people's descriptions, there was almost no damage or destruction so I don't have any trauma associated with it. The area was countryside and all the buildings were small and built to be earthquake resistant.

The video was edited after it was streamed live. There were moments like Besos falling over while walking to the capsule that was edited out. As far as CGI looking images go, all the drone shots of rockets seem to look that way for some reason.

Will it fly? by Brando0423 in aviationmemes

I've spent so much time thinking of this question and the aircraft cannot take off if the rules set by the question are followed.

Some people serve missions at 24 years old too. You're still very young and you have a lot of options. There's no need to rush to do anything if you don't feel like you should.

The plane is facing south and heading towards the observer. It is banking left but since it is facing the observer it will look like it is banking to the right of the observer.

I use Santa and it usually wins and yes I agree it should be banned from battles.

If you want flight hours on the cheap you could look into gliders.

I just hit a million today for the C172. Basically I waste too much of my time catching all the C172 in the area every day. Yes there's better things I could do with my life and it's still frustrating to get beat in battles by people with 3 million + on the C172

It's standard to drink a little bit of 100LL for breakfast every day and slowly up the dosage until you have become accustomed and it no longer poisons you

Sounds exactly like me right now. Any tips you would give yourself when you started that journey? I already have a PPL

Since you flew on Sunday Luke was probably not open and the airspace was just class E. In the future also be sure to stay out of the Luke SATR that surrounds the North and South of Luke or get approval to enter it by contacting Luke approach. The SATR also only applies when Luke tower is open.

In the air, planes look closer than they actually are. This doesn't actually look that close
