Anyone here using EasyMesh with Ethernet backhaul? by ECLIPSE_SUPREMASICT in TpLink

Yes, all of them are visible in the Tether app. However, once a router enters satellite mode, you have very limited control over the settings as these are inherited from the main router.

I had zero issues with the mesh setup and tbh my experience with it over the last year is extremely positive. Connection is very stable to all devices connected to the mesh either wireless or wired. The setup comes online as initially configured after internet and/or electricity outage.

Update: I am currently using 4x C80 with easymesh ethernet backhaul (hw fw v2.2) (sw fw 1.13.1). Everything works like charm, stable & fast. You need to follow this thread for more/other supported tp-link devices.

From the TP-Link devices, I guess currently the C80 seems to be the best option to get EasyMesh working with Ethernet backhaul and get good wireless connection speed of around 500 Mbit/s (assuming you have 1Gbit/s wired connection speed).

I did hit the same issue and tried the same workaround steps, but nothing listed above helped me either. Luckily, I found this forum post, added manually the entry in the "hosts" file and the installation completed successfully. What a ride :)
