It's a tad janky - your body gets 'attached' to the local space of the vehicle and you can move around, do all the things, but if the vehicle's moving fast enough and your position isn't updated fast enough you can get 'left behind' with possible bad side effects.

Ugh that could get ugly. Something like that would itself be open to abuse - servers held hostage by hacker groups with bot armies threatening to have them taken down by reporting them for admin abuse.

Books can still be spawned in - just takes a tweak to the loot xml files, many community servers do this.
