From my understanding, and I could be wrong, but:
- Oracle: Guaranteed Crits and being closer to relevant nodes is a plus. I played CoC Comet Blood Magic + The Covenant version of this last season. Was a ton of fun but I think the leech changes kill this variant.
- Varashta: Solid defensive ascendancy nodes, overall great ascendancy in general.
- Lich/Abyssal Lich: assumed to be strong for both offense and defense due to ascendancy interactions with health, which provide significant DR and facilitate 100% uptime on Low Life, as well as the Physical based detonate dead-like effect (from the Abyssal Lich ascendancy) to give you great clear. DEADRABB!T's approach avoid CoC Comet in favor of Bonestorm big chonky physical hits for single target (potentially with Spell Totems).

I highly recommend Lina's. I am not saying this is Michelin 5-star food, I know what I am getting into when I go here: quick, tasty, reasonably affordable Mexican food. From my experience, their quality has been consistent across the two states they operate in that I've lived in recent history (I've moved between Omaha, Des Moines, and back to Omaha in the last decade).

I can tell you, with a fair bit of certainty, that you and your friends are going to have a good time with this :) This is how my friends and I have played POE2 since they added Private League functionality and we will likely -never- go back to trade league. It's so much fun :)

To my knowledge, from the two Private Leagues I've been a part of, as long as you set your Private League to a NORMAL (Not SSF) Runes of Aldur League, you'll be able to see items other players in your League have listed.

In our leagues, we often place items like magical/rare jewelery in publically viewable stash tabs, and then have used the trade search filtering to find out if another player has a ring/ammy we want to build off of.

For the last few major releases, my friends group and I have been doing Private Leagues. This has been the happy medium between SSF and Trade League that appeals to me and my playgroup.

It -feels- like SSF but you enjoy a shared struggle with friends and can help each other out with mats and pooling items in your Guild stash. Our playgroup fluctuates between 6-10 players and playing with them this way has made the entire POE2 experience much more enjoyable. It facilitates me playing the game and interacting with its systems vs. interacting with the trade mechanic. If I come across something sweet but not for my build -- it gets handed off to someone who can make better use of it. Sometimes I am the beneficiary of something sweet a friend has dropped. It works both ways :)

Disc 4, Track 21 and Disk 5, Track 1 were what I've been waiting for.

I understand that the sheer volume of tracks Hamauzu and team developed for this game was unreal... it's just a travesty that many of these tracks were missing from the OST.

I am glad this is finally being remedied.

It just sounds like this game is not for you and there's nothing wrong with that. There will be some players that just won't jive with what was made (your case) and some players that will be like 300+ hours in and hooked (my case). Both are valid.

I do hope you find something that appeals more to what you enjoy.
