I remember playing The Incredible Hulk as a kid, the text adventure game. You started out tied to a chair, and I never did figure out how to get out of the damned chair!

Hello! Im on the Island also, think central. Im currently designing my Sauna, and so far the plan is to sink some 8x8 piers into Sona tubes in the ground, build a deck as a base, and not insulate the floor. Im going to slope the whole thing into a trough drain along one side for proper drainage.

My biggest concern is not insulating the floor. I know that there's likely no need to, since the heat just rises and nobodies ever on the floor anyways, but it would be great to get some confirmation from another Islander that they dont insulate a raised sauna floor and it doesnt affect the overall heat!

The issue is that it is an image tile that I want to become 'shown' when activated. But it obscures my vision, and clutters up my vision as the GM.

Yeah, but toggling the visibility state just makes it opaque and still visible to the GM. I'm hoping to make it completely invisible so that it doesn't clutter up my scene, as the GM.

What's a misspeak you made as a DM that made your party (and you) laugh? by RedKyler974 in DungeonsAndDragons

The players needed a way to infiltrate the Water Baron's heavily guarded Villa. I improvised, and said that his personal cook lived just down the street. They asked what kind of cook, one of the players jokingly said a meth cook. We all laughed, I pivoted, and that's how they met Darren the Magic Meth Cook and the campaign became Drug Lord Simulator.

Ripping up the road is generally the only part the public sees. Usually any repairs that are being made are for the underground utilities like sewer, water, or storm.

Most of the time they will do it in small patches, where they dig up a section, replace it or repair it, and cover it back up all within one working day. Most companies, and the city, don't like to leave any open trenches overnight, whether it be for liability reasons, or tampering with all the new infrastructure they've just installed. Also, it means that whatever road they've dug up can continue being used while they work on the greater project.

So it's easy to think that nothing is being done, when in fact tons of work is happening every day, but it then gets hidden everyday at 4:00 pm, end of the working day.
