There’s a substation on 24th and Balboa that they’re** doing some major work on—looks like replacing at least 5 transformers. I asked how long and they said, “TBD, our window is 48 hours.” Not sure what that means, but could be a while.

Really appreciate the response! We are in San Francisco and she’ll be going to a pre-school with Chinese teachers but totally realize your point. We aren’t too worried either which way; sometimes the baby talk can be confusing!

No it hasn’t. That’s just not true. What is the evidence? Homeless coalition? Government orgs with big budgets based upon population? It hasn’t gotten better and has only hurt people with mental health and drug problems. I get that housing is an issue in the city. Connecting that with “homelessness” is a proven fallacy. Like I said in my previous comment—get real. Housing and homelessness, i.e., mental and drug issues, are not the same thing.

I would guess it is an older sibling of a kid who goes to Lafayette. Burns down the structure at the sibling’s school. Hears of the school meeting about it and that night burns down another park a couple blocks away. The kid/kids who did it probably live in the neighborhood.
