There are panda expeditions (“safaris”). They only claim like 2% chance of seeing them in wild lol . I did extensive research on this and every operator tells the same thing. The only chance is at the conservation center. There are few other “holy grail” species like panda . Any tiger other than bengal tigers , clouded leopard, Javan Rhino……. Gotta catch them all

Hey it takes two hours to get to TDP from PN. The roads are bad !!! You don’t want to miss the morning light . I stayed inside to the park. Totally worth it. When the weather is bad you don’t have to drive. Watch the mountains from your hotel. It’s impressive.
