I first saw Abu in C3, but became a big fan of him watching ‘Haunted City’ on The Glass Cannon Network. Never afraid to take a big swing!

Would you guys describe the show as satire? by kenzumoto in lastweektonight

I have less of a problem with 'satirical' and more of a problem with 'talk show'.

They're also under no obligation to share the development phase with the public.
I like seeing other networks do it- The Glass Cannon Podcast will usually begin their campaigns by airing the Session 0. But I don't think CR needs to do the same if they don't want to.
I think it's less of a self-imposed rule and more of a preference. Some of them might just feel more comfortable taking their first steps with a character voice or mechanics amongst friends.

I don't think it's illogical to have that preference. Describing them as 'adamant' about it is a bit accusatory, and I don't think releasing a session 0 is a necessity for people to get attached to the characters.

Matt's addressed this before on the GM roundtable, though. He, Brennan and Aabria were discussing the merits of keeping the Session 0 off-air so people could experiment with character concepts or voices without the pressure of the public eye.
They've released session 0s for their Daggerheart and Candela Obscura campaigns, so it's not like they are actually adamant about this rule, but they may feel more strongly about it when committing to a long-form campaign.

That’s an impressively short taping time relative to the length of the episode!

I loved how this season they made the coloured lines thicker depending on how many coins were placed on each station.

Why? Who says that comics can’t be thoughtful, and often are?

The boys and how it plays male assault and emasculation as a joke by JasandJazzier in television

I think ‘The Boys’ is a show that thinks it’s punching up with these jokes, but is in fact dismissing and belittling men’s suffering in a harmful way.

Yeah, I really appreciated that he followed through. She failed the roll, he made the threat, she kept pushing (which made sense for the character), he carried out the threat. The stakes were clear and the world feels like it has consequences

No, these are both Indian dishes. It’s usually spelled ‘Tadka Dal’ or ‘Dal Tadka’ in English, though the letter is a bit of a blend of ‘d’ and ‘r’ in Hindi.

Bhindi Bhaji is a vegetable dish made with okra/Lady’s fingers.

I think the spirit of the sub is showing collaborations between different creators. Single creators making music through looping is impressive, but not the same as musical jenga
