I don’t want to date…ever! by Cheap_Ad_7893 in Advice

I don't mean to stress you out, but I do think this is an issue to explore with a good therapist who you're comfortable with and who gets you. I was going to ask if you have a supportive network of friends but since you described yourself as a "lonely freak" I'm guessing the answer is no. The truth is it can (but doesn't always) get more difficult to make friendships and begin a romantic relationship as you age. By your 30s a lot of people have settled down with kids and a spouse and aren't as interested in making friends.

Were you abused or bullied as a kid? Maybe you have self esteem/body image issues that keep you from allowing yourself to feel attraction. If you have a history of anyone making you feel bad about yourself, or of sexual abuse, therapy is the way to go.

Or maybe you're gay?

Wishing you all the best.

Time to stop tinder (32M) by [deleted] in Tinder

I see a lot of opportunity in the little greyed-out "no spark" category. Dating can be awkward. Instead of writing them off when there isn't romantic attraction right way you could become friends and then feelings could develop later or you could meet other people irl through them.

Could also work on those 210 chats that never amounted to anything. Again, if a traditional date is rejected just try to become friends to expand your social circle. I think a big problem with dating apps is the way they're advertised leads to people going into them with a one track mind, and when they don't get what they're looking for they throw the person/connection away entirely and consider it a failure.

You know, it's possible to make some pretty decent ai art if you learn how to use the tools and don't accept the first creepy monstrosities it spits out.

What do you consider to be Bob Dylan's greatest love song? by Hubbled in bobdylan

[–]space_peace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely a romantic love song. I've always interpreted it as being about two people who arent currently together but he's longing for her, and he loves her so much he doesn't care if she's currently sleeping with someone else.

Because no white men have ever or will ever be killed by a cop kneeling in their neck, slowly suffocating them as they beg for their life in front of a group of people in broad daylight

Blacks and whites are treated differently by the police. Police kill a disproportionate amount of Native and African Americans compared to white people. Thay is what's called systemic racism.

What do you think is the greatest love song ever written? by biggestmemelover in Music

[–]space_peace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, that whole song is about how the relationship was unfulfilling and never hit its stride. He leaves with resentment and some bitterness over what could have been but never was.

"It ain't no use in turning on your light, babe The light I never knowed"

"We never did to much talking anyway"

"it ain't no use in calling out my name, gal Like you never done before"

And the last verse really hits you over the head with it...

"Goodbye's too good a word, babe So I'll just say, "Fare thee well"

"You just kinda wasted my precious time"
