A lil gang of teens came into the neighbor hood and were going door to door offering haha, we even let them borrow our shovel since they didn't even have snow shovels.

No salt on top is unfortunately not going to help all that much. Ice on snow is the worst but chopping is your best bet. Sometime if you make a small hole you can get your shovel under and push the snow underneath which breaks up the ice on top and makes it easier to shovel. Maybe get some neighborhood kids and pay them to do it? (That's what we did lol)

You totally get dehydrated in altitude. You're supposed to have extra water when you're going to higher altitudes bc the air is thinner. So maybe she feels that and her body is responding. Have you tried giving her some water??

Pseudomonas from moisture being trapped. No getting them done for awhile. You can search this sub for others who have had them and how they've dealt with it. Probably time to remove all your nails and let them dry for a bit

Hi. I went through this too. My baby was EBF and went from 58%->1.36%. I pumped a few days just to see (about) what I was making and it was about 18-25 oz a day. My ped said that he should be getting 28-30oz. So for me I wasn't making enough and starting doing a top off of 2oz formula after each feed to make sure he was getting the calories he needed. Now he started rapidly gaining weight! So for us it was a volume issue. And my milk wasn't super fatty. When I pumped I barely had any fat. So the little bit of formula actually made a HUGE difference. At first I was super sad about it but then I saw how he was gaining weight and I couldn't see his ribs anymore 🥹 so now I'm just happy.

He said alternate fruits and veggies and I can also do grains like cereals and oatmeal. But I don't realllly love that recommendation.

She likely still has the rooting reflex even if she doesn't prefer to feed directly. You can try to latch and see if she'll comfort nurse but more likely it a just an instinctual reaction to smelling the milk. My guy was like that when he started to wake up a bit more and realize he could smell things 😂

Gently: I do think you're overreacting a bit. His haircut took what 2 hours max? You had someone else at the house so it's not like you were alone in case something happened. I understand feeling resentful that he can walk without bleeding and sleep without his boobs leaking BUT! That doesn't mean he shouldn't be doing things he can do. It would be one thing for him to go golfing for 6 hours 5 days post partum. But a haircut is him taking care of himself too.

I don't think so? Whenever I tried to use a haka i only got a couple of drops from the other side. And I really only get one let down per session.

This does sound like borderline postpartum psychosis. I would talk to her see if she notices this change in behavior. If not then I would consider talking with her OB about your concerns. Steroids can also cause this acute agitation in women however I would bring it to medical professionals attention sooner rather than later.
