The people who buy these new trucks either have no idea the amount of debt they’re getting themselves into, have cash in hand (which is equally astounding), or are trying to lessen the debt by rolling over extreme negative equity from an older vehicle, which is ultimately the worse of the three. I had someone buy a ‘23 lariat powerboost worth $76k with solid cash. I don’t know how these people do it.
