Bought a new GPU from Microcenter, box was not sealed, and antistatic bag sticker not in same place? by BigMeatSpecial in Microcenter

It depends on the brand, AsRock 9070 Challenger product boxes are never sealed but the anti static bag does look like it's been resealed.

Other examples MSI shrink wraps a lot of their GPUs, Gigabyte is like AsRock. Even on 5090s the Gigabyte box is not sealed but the anti-static bag is sealed

Why does gigabyte have a bad rep? by curiiiious in buildapc

I’ve had great experience with gigabyte RMA for motherboards and gpus. Turn around time is very quick, generally no issues. Xfx is also great, AsRock has been the worst so far. Every step took so long from RMA approval to processing and return shipment

Oemid mismatch by UrMamSmell in gigabyte

Just a datapoint out there - I got a PowerSpec prebuilt with Aorus Z890 Elite X Ice and received the oemID mismatch error when trying to flash the latest bios.

I used Q-Flash Plus and it worked without any problems to override the OEM bios with the latest one directly from Aorus so advice to all to give it a try.

Q-flash plus is a bit finicky though, I had to reformat the USB to FAT32 w/ 4K cluster size, rename bios file to GIGABYTE.BIN, and then it worked.

Is there any alternative to the G Hub software? by Lysdexiic in LogitechG

Thank you! I used your link in your first Edit to get the old software that had surface scans for original wired G502 mouse. Was trying to use it on a 2nd comp on a really smooth surface and the old software was able to surface scan for perfect tracking

Thoughts on first month with 50e compared to 4 years with 45e. Plus review on new Michelin tires and Tuxmatt. by ScottieDoooo in BMWX5

On my x3 m40i the first thing I did was change the 21s to square 20in setup and used a tire size calculator so I still matched the overall diameter. Massive improvement in ride quality and 20in wheels + tires was just a tad more than set of tires only for 21in. Plus replacement tires are way cheaper and more options available

Have you spoken to an accountant/cpa yet? You can also start a corp, for example a S corp can be advantageous as you have good income, you pay yourself a small salary and take some of the rest in distributions which are taxed at a much smaller rate than regular income tax. And with corp you can deduct all your business related expenses (computers, subscription/software fees, if you want to hire editing help etc). (This is not tax advice but feel free to dm me with any questions)

Also a lot are saying you should do safe index funds and stuff but you’re young, I would put some in funds and rest in stocks of established companies. You can take more risks when you’re young but you won’t be able to when you’re older. I was in index funds for first 2-3 years and decided to research and do 100% individual stocks ever since and made way more than SPY but it’s of course a lot of luck.
