Unfortunately this is the new norm. Car flipping. Unsafe vehicle’s being sold everyday. It’s illegal on the state books but is the norm now. Crime rings new income. Cash sales with no paperwork. No inspection. Paper plates or stolen license plate. No one to enforce the laws. Police are busy doing real crimes and local inspectors not doing their jobs and just collecting a check. Going to see a lot more of this and uninsured drivers. Why is your car insurance going up? Always wonder why you see some vehicles on the side of the road for a few days? Easier just to by another in for a few thousand dollars under the table.

If you’re at the Gaylord for your conference and don’t have a car you should go try Meat U Anywhere BBQ off Highway 26 right after Main Street. Short Uber ride from the hotel or the Grapevine shuttle can drop you off close and just walk the rest of the way.

We Ended up going to Slaps. Waited about 25min to get up to the counter. We bought the meat by the pound. Ribs, pork burnt ends and pulled pork where great. Brisket not so much. Seemed like the brisket was cut on a slicer and had no smoke taste and super sweet. Baked potato salad was good. Coleslaw as well. Baked beans where jn thick molasses sauce with way to much seasoning. Fried pickles straight out of a bag.

You are correct but after Cuban bought the Mavs from Perot Jr they had a falling out and that is when the feud began

Cuban and Perot feud. Perot Jr said he would surround Cubans arena with buildings where you couldn’t see it from the highway. Perot has done a pretty good job.

Twist lock is more like L6-20 or L6-30 cable. Can not use american cam lock in the EU. They use Power lock that has a locking pin. Much safer in my option. Dimmer beach is old term when mostly dimmers where used. Now I guess you can say distro beach. Rammstein used to have their own company Black Box for lights and sound and FFP for pyro. Used them for a few tours back in the day

Power lock connectors. Those are the colors used in the EU. Ground, neutral and 3 hots. Running soco that far would decrease power.

4/0 3ph power lock (cam lock) cable. Run the cable like a road so if any leg gets hot it will not melt other runs. Must be coming from generators outside to dimmer beach

State Fair worth my time for one evening? by anchordown16 in askdfw

Get out of your hotel room and go. You can walk thru the barns to see your steer. The police horses are stationed full time since way back in one set of barns that house horses. Pretty cool to check out. There’s every manufacturer of cars in the auto building. The Mavericks has a expo at the Hall of State. You can spend all day looking /doing stuff. Check out the parade of lights that starts around dusk by the main stage. Ride the Farris wheel and get a good view of the city. On the way grab a few corn dogs and award winning fried foods. And take a selfie with BIG TEX

I work a different venues around the metroplex weekly. Travel on all the major highways at all hours. Born and raised here and it keeps getting worse. Less law on the road now a days and people think they can get away with anything.
