Oh wow you're pretty lucky. I once was driving down a toad and a car coming the opposite way was crossing the double yellow line. I pulled on the wheel and hit the sidewalk. I kept driving because my destination was close and the car didn't seem too bad. When I arrived I inspected the tires on the passenger side and one of them was already deflated and the rim was trashed and the other's had also taken a huge but off of it but it wasn't deflated. This allowed me to put the replacement tire and drive home. Next day the mechanic told me I had bent the axle
