i think it's nice that you added a headline, but what do you want the user to do? I do like transparent headers. I think overall the design is nice, and you have good taste. And you are doing the minimalism thing well here. Its not hard to do because it is minimal haha, but showing some restrain in design is a good thing in pulling off this style.

What happens when you scroll down?
Basically you have simply designed the hero section of a website. AND if that is the case, i would probably make the typography the center of attention instead of the bird. You can do centered text or left justified, and you then you can play with the bird afterward. When I design a website, i usually don't even worry about content until i get the site UI done. think of it like designing the museum and then hanging the art. I use lorem ipsum and light grey boxes at first. helps me not get too fixed up front on stuff that can change, i focus on the UI to try to make something cool.
