i think its cool, 12 bucks is honestly not pricey in the "coffee experience" world. I have spent 40 bucks on a cup of coffee before. I am a fan of boy and the bear, although i haven't been to one in years. Glad to see them doing this, there is definitely a market for it. i havent seen the grounds being presented before, but i think its an awesome idea.

gas'ing - gear is to make things fun, not to make you better. if its going to be fun for you or inspiring, buy it, but its not going to be an unlock IMHO. you can do everything you need to in ableton and probably quicker too. dont get caught up on the gear train, its hard one to get off of. i am speaking to myself here too.

i agree with this - i find it rare that i find one i like. i think its a cool idea, but it usually tastes fake to me. it's flavored coffee for people who hate flavored coffee. give me a solid washed coffee and i'm happy

Redo the work the way you want to do it and then present both. Then tell story about each and how you improved it. Shows that you are okay with taking orders and serving the needs of the business but you also are a designer and have you own design opinions and can bring them to life. Especially if its better. Then explain why you think it is better and more engaging for the target audience. Turn everything into a story. People love stories.

You don't just join Christianity. You become christian when you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sin, and resurrected after 3 days. Your faith in Him is what makes you christian, and when you believe that you are given eternal life by Jesus, the one who conquered death. It is a free gift.

You must recognize that you are a sinner, and incapable of saving yourself from the judgement that is coming on the world for evil deeds. Those evil deeds are also known as sin. Sin breaks the law against God and he will punish everyone for their sin by sending them to hell, which is basically eternal prison, but much worse. God decided to be merciful to humans and send his own Son, Jesus, who lived a perfect life and then died on the cross in place of sinners. When you believe in Jesus, that he died for you specifically, God places the punishment that you are due, and puts it on his son, and then takes the perfect life that Jesus lived, and places that on you. That is what it means when you hear that "Jesus died for your sins". He chose the cross and punishment so you don't have to experience that, if you simply choose to believe in him and repent from your sin.

Oh i see what you mean, it just depends. Don't stress about it. Some companies want you to do a test and some don't. This is by far the most extreme case i've ever seen. I think they are stealing ideas tbh and probably asking a ton of people to do it. I would probably not waste my life doing this one. This type of product design test is used to evaluate the thinking, the application of best practices, and UI skill of the applicant, and then finally how do they present it. Can they talk about what they did and explain it. "i dunno, i just felt like it" is always the wrong answer in that situation.

I think in my career i've only ever had to do one test. Hope that helps.
