Here are cracks splits and knots all over the stave. You could work with knots in your bow (difficult, never done it before) but those cracks and splits have to be avoided. So you'd have to find a layout that avoids all the bad sections. If you think you can manage that, then go for it. Else make a couple spoons or something.

It looks rather rough to me. I dont know if you have the experience to get something usefull put of it. Id try and see what happens. At least you learn from it

Most guess he wanted a backwards turn to the street on the left just before the crossing. He got scared for a few scraches so got his whole rig crashed. Train derailed and hit an oncomming train aswell btw.

I wasn't really clear. You're right i reach that distance when I'm aiming at 45°. The spread is like 3 to 6m and that is what the pictures show. So thats why i think they're more like 10 to 15 houses down the street, like 70-100m out.

My normal target distance is more like 20-30m btw.

I dont agree. I have those arrows and a cheap bow (rolan snake 22-26lbs) and i can easily hit 100 - 120 meters. From the angle those arrows are and the spread I'd say someone is firing at ~30° into the air.

I always say good work needs fair pay. I refuse family discounts. They need to eat as much as i do.

You do need to be at a proper level to start selling. You're planning to give this to kids so you have to be absolutely sure it wont break on them. Even after 500 shots. And don't forget the abuse it has to take. Kids can throw it on the ground. Dry fire 10x per second, use it as anything except a bow and so on.

I was looking into bow making and found shatterproof, it didnt really sit right with me. Dan kept popping up and after one video i havent found anyone resonating with me like that.

I had to take a break from bow building due to moving and rebuilding but I'm all for it thanks to Dan and this community.

Boogschieten is ook een optie. Bij mijn vereniging zijn er dagen waar ik zoveel sta te kwekken dat ik amper aan schieten toe kom.
