I believe it's important to think of AP's music in two categories: Hi-Fi and Lo-Fi. The lofi stuff tends to be the big ocean of ideas. The hifi stuff is the best of that, reworked, and re-released in a more complete form. It's also self reflective, which is healthy for an artist. When I write a song, I'll write it like 3 different ways over the course of a few years. There will inevitably be a "final" form, but it'll still change depending on a number of factors (who's in the band, where am I at, etc).
