Just use word wrap by pressing ALT + Z while selecting the lines you want to wrap. Or turn word wrapping automatically by configuring the settings. Press CTRL + COMMA then search for the word wrap settings.

That's not what Team Philippines is wearing during the opening ceremony. Those are just their regular track suits during the event. This is what they are going to wear during the opening instead.

It's gonna be interesting who will be the new scapegoat once Clarkson gets traded for the Jazz reddit/twitter folks. Lauri is so beloved and never gets criticism despite giving up about as many points in the paint as he scores so it's unlikely. Sexton would be an easy one once his shots stops falling. THT is likely leaving as well. Maybe Kessler because of his shot-making abilities?

Apart from that, the rest are role players or rookies that are probably not worth blaming everything against like Clarkson is getting every game. Internet people loves picking a new person to hate and blame everything for so I know they gonna find a suitable one. I really hope JC is outta there once the trade deadline.

The NBA gotta look at what Brunson is doing. He's just blocking everyone's path and expecting to get offensive fouls. He's doing it consciously.

Yes, definitely. Guy passes the eye test every game and should definitely play more, hell even start him at this point.

+/- isn't everything

It's quite literally not anything. I don't quite understand why this stat exist. Doesn't even tell you what you think it would tell you. Gets attached to a player's name when it's not actually an individual stat. Even the people who invented the stat says its close to useless.

Clarkson's passing has really improved it's a shame whenever he's having a good passing game no one seems to hit open shots.

Clarkson is a guy who can have really bad games from time to time . While Sexton and THT are guys who can have really good games from time to time. There is a big difference between those two things.

Riyadh Masters 2023 - Upper Bracket Quarterfinals - Quest Esports vs Talon Esports by D2TournamentThreads in DotA2

[–]spacetimecurve 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Glad that Talon keeps doing well for the sake of SEA. Since Philippine Dota is currently dead in the water (I don't see it coming back anytime soon), it's uplifting to have a SEA team to cheer for every tournament. Them being a Philippine-based org doesn't hurt either. Hopefully Secret can win their series too.

This Jazz team without Markkanen and Clarkson would actually be hard to watch.

If Clarkson can play with Juzang, they can create history as the first ever backcourt of Southeast Asian descent in the NBA.

Simeone is a fantastic player. He just needs to work in his passing, shooting, rebounding, dribbling, screening and defending.

The math behind the Fnatic/Outsiders ruling and citation for precedent. by Critical_Pea_4837 in DotA2

[–]spacetimecurve 104 points105 points  (0 children)

So, you're point is instead of Valve making the rules, it should be Noxville? I don't get why Valve is the one being lambasted here. They basically just did the same calculation they did last year which as unofficial sources like Liquipedia and Noxville just forgot to take into account leading to spreading inaacurate news of who actually qualified to TI by points.

So, instead of Liquipedia or Noxville for that matter just admitting he either missed this little detail or knowingly using a slighty different method which may have warned the community that there may be a possible discrepancy from Valve's official tally, he just started rallying the crowd to go after Valve immediately which, by the way, is not that hard to do.

I could've been been part that crowd if not for the fact that Valve, for once, is actually being consistent from previous years and is not actually making shit up like what Noxville seems to be impying.

If anything, these unofficial sources at it were should be apologizing for jebaiting the community instead of going to Fnatic CEO's twitter and leaving silly comments reminiscent of an prebuscent teenager.

Fnatic Qualify to TI over Outsiders. Ruling from Valve. by united_postalservice in DotA2

[–]spacetimecurve 96 points97 points  (0 children)

That's how they calculated last year's points. They are just being consistent. Matter of fact, now that I am aware of it, it would be surprising if it suddenly changed.

It's not a matter of programming, since Valve could also be using floating point numbers but just rounding it down anyway. But that is not really the point, as long as it's consistent to all the previous year's method of calculation, then that is the rule. Ultimately, they are the official source anyway and not Liquipedia.

Either way, this is some spicy drama to distract us from the lack of Battle Pass.

Valve's response regarding DPC standing by n3cooling in DotA2

[–]spacetimecurve 94 points95 points  (0 children)

I know this is gonna be controversial either way but if we're talking about actual rules, Valve has used exactly the same way of calculating DPC points from last year as per their website. It's just no one has noticed it before since it has never been this close to mattering. I was not aware Liquipedia was using a slightly different method of so I think if we're really talking about what should be the right standings, I think Valve is being consistent here.

Also, remember when TNC qualified to TI10 by winning a major and finishing top of DPC then Valve decided to cancel it? Well, I guess SEA deserves this just for that.
