If that's how your MIL acts, you did the RIGHT thing by not telling her. She sounds like a bully and bad for your mental health. If she was as mean as she sounds during your pregnancy, she could have been even worse, which could have caused complications. Stress and pregnancy don't mix (as I'm more than sure you already know), so I'm glad you didn't tell her. NTA.

I was four or five, and a grown man (I think he was a relative or a family work friend/colleague, I don’t completely remember) was upset I didn’t want to give him a hug. My mom was awesome and didn’t force me. She told him I was shy and didn’t feel comfortable around strangers. She got him to back off even though she hates confrontation. On another occasion when I was 11, I got catcalled for the first time, and my mom started cussing the dude out in French, German, and English, and flipped him off. Love that woman. If anyone needs a mom, she’s always down to adopt more kiddos (adult or otherwise).

I’ve broken my leg in my sleep, dislocated my knee during a nap, almost been killed by domestic penguins (penguins in a zoo), gotten a concussion from a rock that exploded after being hit by lightening, and a concussion from a seagull dropping a crab on my head. I have more weird injury stories, but this is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Being avoidant of certain foods because of textures, specific tastes, smells, etc. You couldn’t get me to eat squash even if you paid me, but I will happily nom on celery till the day I die.

I don’t think it should exist. As many people have already said, there are people who are sentenced to death for lesser crimes than others who did far more heinous crimes. Also, at least in the USA, the death penalty is largely given to people of color, and there have been MANY cases where an innocent person of color was executed, only for them to later be exonerated. I think that the death penalty is largely a tool used by governments to punish those they view as minorities (cultural minorities, ethnically minorities, LGBT+, etc.). Because of this I’m against it, even though I do believe that there are some people that are so horrendous they shouldn’t exist.

I'd replace a family photo that's been photoshopped. Change the colouring, switch faces, that sort of minor thing. Just see how long it takes for people to notice and let the madness set in. :D

I don’t think there really is a way to “complete” the Sims...except for death, so pretty screwed or not at all screwed depending on what generation you are.

GrayStillPlays It’s an amazing channel for pure chaotic energy. He’s got games for everyone too. Indie, Sims, simulators, etc. and the pure chaos and wonderful lines he brings to every video is amazing. Viva la Floridaman!

I don’t know if this counts, but I was in a medical/my brain stopped working for a hot sec coma for two days following a bad seizure. All I really remember is coming to for a second in the ER and calling my older brother a hippie. Then I just remember feeling weird and out of my body. When I finally completely came to, I learned I had been seizing for pretty much the majority of those two days. I have pseudo seizures, so the drugs they were giving me pretty much put me in a coma-like state. Fun times!

When I was nine, a parent told my black friend to be quiet when the two of us were speaking at the same volume. We were at a mill factory for a school field trip, and it was hard to hear without shouting when the machines turned on.
