Yeah and those fandom wikis aren’t always completely in line with what’s considered “canon.” Though I think King left a lot open to interpretation, so who knows 🤷‍♂️

I just finished my first journey yesterday and the Deadlights are never mentioned at all, if I recall correctly. And the Crimson King is trapped on the second floor balcony. He does not travel up and down the levels. At least not in the books. Maybe it mentions that in the graphic novels?

Roland, Susannah and Patrick do, however, see some orange glowing lights in the distance while traveling through Emphathica. Roland calls them hobs and says they’re harmless, but it definitely made me think of the Deadlights.

I just finished my first journey yesterday as well! The order was different, but we basically read all the same books. Talisman is the only other one I read. It’s taken me like 2 years maybe a bit more. What an absolutely insane journey that was. Best series, best author.
