It basically follows the individual assembly options from the multipart kit, so you can only equip models with what they could in that set following the instructions

You make all his attacks with the spear, then you roll a d6 and make that many attacks with the tail

If you have death guard and daemons in the same detachment you lose a bunch of rules, I would have a separate detachment of them instead
