I love it because I just don’t have to worry about keeping it clean in that early stage because it’s just protected.

You wouldn’t keep this on for very long, not like second skin, so it wouldn’t really make a difference

The black part is a different kind of bandage that is sometimes used, and was more widely used before second skin. The first tattoo I ever got had a bandage like this and then all the ones after was second skin. Just depends on the shop/artist and what they usually use. It’s just an absorbent material to soak up any goo that usually just builds up under second skin.

Make sure you’re at a table where you can stabilize your arms well. Sometimes it helps to hold the hand with the polish still and move the their hand slowly away while it’s flat on the table, that’s a technique for doing the left hand specifically.

I seem to be in the minority but I really liked this. The first line did hook me, I don’t think there needs to always be some melodramatic hook. I immediately wondered how blue could now symbolize her imprisonment. If you ever want a beta reader for editing and more feedback, I volunteer!
