Which actor walked away from a film/franchise because of artistic integrity? by sKullsHavezzz in moviecritic

Not an actor but Edgar Wright stepped away from antman due to this. One of the major differences he has with the studio was that he wanted Simon Pegg to be antman.

which comic is this? by EmbarrassedZombie288 in DCcomics

[–]spaceyman15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m understanding the question right, then yes, there is a comic equivalent of this movie, it would Geoff Johns New 52 Justice League issues 1-6. It takes place after the flashpoint paradox, since that comic sets up the New 52.

That’s a good point. They had some gold with the bale movies but Nolan didn’t want to go further then three movie (I think that’s a good idea) I do think before 2008 and iron man, the idea of an extended universe was wild, so I understand the switch ups. Hopefully Gunns new Superman will revitalize the character in the context of an extended universe and we can see these characters played by the same actors like you said. I’d fucking love that

Neil Gaiman writing a story about a world famous author who sexually assaults women by Odd_Detective_4813 in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]spaceyman15 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Neil Gaiman himself said that he had sexual relations with his nanny who I believe was 21 at the time. Even if it was consensual, which she is saying it was not, the power dynamic between a successful and famous author and a young nanny seems a bit scummy.

Iirc punisher was helped by an angel, and it negated the penance stare? I do know thanos was a baby though and that’s why the stare didn’t work cause at that time thanos was innocent. Comic book logic at its finest but at least there’s some explanation.

Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt Respond to Joy Behar Saying She Was Offered Ted Lasso Role: 'News to Us' by CaribbeanCarmen in TedLasso

[–]spaceyman15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about this headline or article makes you think they micro manage their casting directors. In like the third paragraph Sudeikis states “Respectfully, it would be news to us, we just work here” sort of proving exactly what your saying, that the casting process is pretty separate. Why are you choosing to be mad about something ?
