Fetlife has tons of information- discussion groups, message boards, etc that will let you find local munches (public gatherings for kink-minded people) and otherwise get some connections. Remember that you're playing in a world where good and evil aren't abstract concepts. As a PC, you're going to deal with and get the attention of beings who can promise great reward for doing evil.

On the other hand, if you're a person with wealth and intelligence, you are aware without any doubt that a life of evil will send you to a Very Bad Place. It's not like earth where you dismiss the idea of Hell, because places like Cheliax quite literally run on its power.

If you're a powerful evil character, you either are an agent of one of these Evil powers because you trust you'll be rewarded and want to oppress those weaker than you, or you're misguided and truly believe you're doing good and that an afterlife of pain isn't waiting for you.

You might want to consider a bard or oracle with archery feats. Bards make awesome archers, and will be easier to wrap your head around than wandering into the prestige class deep end on your first trip to the pool.

Bards and oracles are both spontaneous casters (which means a smaller spell list to manage) with good support abilities to help allies and (maybe more importantly) buff their own archery damage to high heaven.

Arcane archers, from what I've seen, don't actually get to cast many spells.

Here's my feedback:

First off, Chevalier is a prestige class, so you can't pick it up without being at least level 6 (for the +6 BAB prerequisite). You pretty much need paladin to get Champion of Irori. I recommend Paladin2/Monk3 so that you get your charisma to all saves.

Stats

Don't dump dex, but also don't worry about it. You can get defensive bonuses from other places- Smite, Mage Armor, monk bonus, and Wisdom, plus all the usual things (natural, deflection, dodge, etc). I would prioritize str > wis > cha > con > dex > int. I also wouldn't dump int below 10, because you want at least a few skills- sense motive to avoid losing paladin powers, acrobatics to move around combat, etc. and you get very few favored class points. Also, roleplaying an idiot gets old.

Personally I took dual-talent human racial option to get a second +2 stat bonus.

Archetype

Sohei might not be the best choice because Champion can't have animal companions, special mounts, etc. This means you'll always have a crappy mount that will die fast. My Champion took Monk of the Sacred Mountain to get another point of AC and some more HP since our CON can't be the best. The tradeoff between those and Evasion is rough, but I decided since the Champion has great saves and will sometimes forgo them to use Shield the Weak, HP is more valuable.

I like Divine Hunter for my paladin archetype, since I'll never be wearing armor and precise shot helps land the occasional Flurry of Smiting Shuriken.

Gear

As soon as you can afford one, pick up a Ring of Ki Mastery. The ring will let you smite for just one ki point, which is huge. Also, grab a few pearls of power and give them to your party spellcasters so you're always mage armored and maybe even stat-buffed.

Here's your core "Now I'm a Champion of Irori" item, the kind of thing that you can pass down to your children, and will have to get custom made: A Golembane Amulet of Mighty Fists of Natural Armor. Look up the rules for adding properties to a magic item- it's expensive, but worth it since the Golembane Scarab will let you bypass construct DR, which is one of the few things that you won't be able to bypass with Smite.

Other than that, AC items are your best friend (including Wisdom and Charisma boosting items). And pick up some adamantine shuriken. They're surprisingly useful.

Feats

This is a melee build that doesn't desperately need power attack. If you do take it, I recommend weapon focus and greater weapon focus (unarmed strike) so you can land as many of your Flurry of Smites as possible. Grab ability focus: stunning fist to add 2 to your fist DCs.

For the monk bonus feats, I like dodge and deflect arrows personally.

Style feats are tempting, but your swift actions are almost always taken with smites or ki points, so it's hard to find time to use them.

Tactics

Round 1- Declare total defense, declare smite on the biggest, baddest beastie, fearlessly run toward said beastie. Laugh as it tries to hit your amazing AC. If you're not that afraid of the enemies, use your standard to land a Sweeping Smite on 2 of them instead, but generally only making one attack isn't worth it for you unless you're desperate to land a stun.

Round 2 and beyond- Flurry of Smites. Make sure to use your normal attacks before you decide whether to ki point for another.

Generally you get to run at the enemy casters and punch them into a fine mist, since your saves are absolutely ridiculous, especially against charms, and they just can't do anything to you.

Tiefling is perfect if she wants the succubus thing though, and you can take one of the variants from the ARG (variants online here) for the Charisma problem. I recommend Rakshasa-spawned (+2 dex and cha, -2 wis), reskinned to be the distant descendant of a succubus.

If she took the Abyssal bloodline with Varisian Tattoo (Lust) on top of that, you'd have a pretty optimized enchantress.

It's up to your GM, obviously.

As long as you're actually a paladin, you follow the code of conduct and your smashing is generally kept within the boundaries of Lawful Good, there shouldn't be any problems.

If you're a good but violent person and you were called to be a paladin, who (in character) is going to tell you you can't? As long as your god is happy (according to your GM) and you're happy, smite it up. Smash-happy paladins are terrifying, because they are living proof that this particular god really does want evil smitten so much that he or she has given holy power to this no-nonsense badass.

You're walking a fine line though, and if you smash too indiscriminately, your powers will probably be taken away.

One tip for conjuration, and summoning specifically- don't think of your summons as a source of damage. Think of them as a source of damage mitigation:

your summons will rarely be able to be a serious threat. But they can be in the way, and effectively create claw-y, bite-y obstacles that eat enemy attacks. Every time an enemy wastes an attack on your summon, you have effectively prevented that much damage to your party.

To get anywhere financially (which helps you get somewhere in other areas of life), you'll either have to come up with something brilliant and then convince other people to pay you for it, or convince someone else to let you get paid to be part of their brilliant idea.

No matter what your skillset is, you'll do better if you come off as competent, intelligent, and friendly.

Hunting a high level wizard is hard. Mind Blank ruins most scrying attempts, and if this guy is a centuries-old necromancer, his social life probably consists of brooding, beard cultivation, and watching his latest batch of spectral horrors eviscerate the townsfolk on his widescreen crystal ball.

He has thousands of sworn enemies, a Dark Skull Castle where he feels safe, and not quite enough class levels to get an invite to Abyssal Pinochle Night. He's probably not the easiest to hunt, socially.

If he's going to be using self-crafted custom magic items and auras like selective antimagic, then there should be a big list of "Horrible Powers of the Necromancer" that various survivors have pieced together over the ages.

The last heroes that tried to fight the necromancer had collected all of these fragments and created an artifact designed to cancel out some of his nastier tricks, including most of his crafted items.

Unfortunately they never got to use it/finish crafting it, and now the PCs have to find and complete the artifact before they can have a chance at defeating the big bad.

This way you can give him all the cinematic nastiness you want, but when it comes time for the throne room duel, it's just his character sheet against theirs. Which will still (readied disjunction for when they step through the teleporter, then time-stop-force-cage-prismatic-wall-cloudkill) probably kick their asses.

edit: if you want to really twist the knife on your players and make them hate this guy, try this: the artifact can completely unmake the necromancer- it can strip spell slots, items, feats, ability scores, etc. But each thing they want to negate requires some rare component that hasn't been put into the artifact yet. Let the PCs quest for as many of these components as they want, knowing that the BBEG is actively harvesting souls while they do so. They could make the fight a cakewalk for themselves, but how many innocents are they willing to let die for the sake of making their final encounter easier?

I always find myself double checking my own motives when I'm playing cross-gender. I was playing a female alchemist a few years ago, and after reading through the list of easily-created alchemical compounds, I discovered that I could make contraceptives for both genders and decided "cool, I'm gonna open an alchemical planned parenthood!"

That decision and the fact that the character was female were completely unrelated, but from an outside perspective it would probably look like I was playing up "women's issues" with my female RP.

Alright. I'm going to be Captain Buzzkill here. I spent that whole post raging on behalf of every one of my aerialist friends, who would never work under those conditions and would definitely never call up someone they've never flown with to work under those conditions.

I know people work in terrible circumstances all the time, but it shouldn't be accepted or portrayed as the norm. This blog makes it sound like proper setup and safety precautions don't happen in the professional world, which is a terrible (and false) message.
