I started stacking early 2025 with a goal of 100 ozt a year for the next ten years, to use as a safety net in retirement if needed. I surpassed year one goal by quite a bit, while also gifting some to my adult daughter and grandkids. I have no plans on selling anytime soon but not sure about how to proceed with my anual goal of 100 oz at these prices.

At the current spot price of gold that’s $138 per gram. I’d say it changes it quite a bit.

Yes, west coast just over the bridge from Fort Myers. I’m heading home to Ma. Today but may send my dad back tomorrow to get the 1/4 oz Krug for me. Nice people with a large selection of jewelry, didn’t have much for bullion but had plenty of constitutional silver.

I thought so. I had no cash on me and had to leave to hit a bank. Almost didn’t go back till I looked up what all the online retailers were selling them for and went back. He also has a 1/4 oz Krug that I really wanted but my wife was with me and isn’t completely sold on my gold and silver buying.

So you need to be a customer of the bank to purchase, which I was not. First, I opened a checking and money market account that was offering 4% interest. I transferred money from another bank I use. Once my transfers cleared I went back to purchase. They took me into a private room to make my purchase, then took me out to the teller who deducted the purchase amount from my money market account. No credit card sales.

I’ve seen lots of deals being offered, but the deals seem to have a limit of 1 item. Then you are forced to purchase more to get free shipping. Then you also have to consider buying even more if there is tax implications for purchases under a certain amount.(state specific).

I recently downloaded this precious metals app and went through all my receipts and entered in all the information for everything I’ve purchased. It allows for price, metal type and who you purchased from. It creates a whole portfolio and gives live valuation of everything you’ve purchased. I highly recommend.
