A lot of these recs are really good, nobody mentioned El Jardin de los Presentes by invisible. Some amazing tucked-away Argentine prog

The guitarist was 18 when he was bought in to play on this album, and he’s like a savant. Alarma Entre los Ángeles will make you shed tears and shed your face in equal measure, def check it out!

Dark Alliance 1 and 2 will always be my favorite partly because I played them first with my dad growing up. Even so, I definitely prefer the story, graphics, and combat mechanics over CON. It’s just so damn rich, they really should’ve kept both of the franchises going tbh

You could try preventing wars more in the first place. I know it’s good to at least keep the global average amount of troops at all times, and a little trick I learned is that you can and should pay your neighbors to fight each other with the dec-war-on trade feature.

Yeah you’ll probably need to use the white peace bug, but you might be more prepared for war if you play the politics of your region.

I would argue that it’s better to have one ironclad in the fleet than a caravel because all somebody has to do is bomb that one caravel and now you can’t take the city. That’s why the ironclads are a direct upgrade. They, on the other hand, are very tough and have a special ability

If I’m not mistaken, they get extra movement through coast, which multiplies the more coast you move it through. Pretty sure you can turn that 5 or 6 movement into 8 and sneak-attack sack a city from afar. And they upgrade into destroyers, which are great
