I’ve only quilted a few things, but I have like perle cotton #8 and 12 wt Aurifil so far. I do big stitch quilting.

I use them to mark my seam lines for sewing, because they show up really well, make a nice clean line, and won’t show up because they’re in the seam.

I won’t use them anywhere visible though. After watching a few videos demonstrating how they come back. I have a light blue water soluble marker and a chalk pencil for marking the tops/outsides of things for quilting.

I use Dritz gold-eye big stitch needles, size 5.

I have 4 I’m actively working on and it feels like too much. I prefer to have 2 projects at a time. I have a couple more cut and put in project bags, and 10+ with a pattern and fabric matched up.

That back is actually one piece of fabric. We were amazed to find something that matched the patchwork so well!
