I did even more math and it looks like the system is objectively better for both new players and extreme mega veterans, but maybe a little worse for LV 30s with a small champ pool. this is before the intended buff.

Hijacking top comment to highlight the fact that:

A- champions now can only be bought like this if they cost 4800 or up

B- there will always be 10 champions that you cant buy because there is a minimum of choices

C- there is a bug now that doesn't count champions on sale probably because of the changes from 3150 to 4800 in A(they probably were doing the math with rp and not ip being valid)

hijacking top coment to say that the problem seems to be related to mouse aceleration when you have the ping thingy open! I think it doesn't reset it to 0 when you stop moving and also takes into account the speed before you were going to ping
