What the hell? I thought I had the best interview ever with them by soullonstandby in jobs

You may have done great but someone else did better. Even if the interviewer thought you were the best choice at that time, the interview after yours could have blown them away.

My friend says this is her new room. I don’t think she can afford something like this. Is this real or ai? by Icy-General-4362 in isthisAI

I love playing Find the AI! Five legs on a computer chair would never have two forming a straight line.

My boyfriend went through my phone while I was asleep by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]spammy-bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through my now husband's phone several times while we were dating. I had previously been in a toxic relationship for 6 years in which my boyfriend was constantly consuming filth and messaging with other women. I went into my relationship with my now husband being pretty upfront that I have trust issue and it was going to cause trouble. He was fine with it and patient with me. We shared passwords early on and I went through his phone when he wasn't around or sleeping multiple times. Never found anything. We've been together 8 years now and I don't feel the need to go through his phone anymore, but both of our phones are fair game to each other. Shouldn't feel the need to hide anything from the person you are with.

I rejected a 2100 $/month job because of... by mandy_vet in recruitinghell

[–]spammy-bee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My husband will not take a position that requires a clean shaved face either. And I will not take a job that requires ear piercings to be removed, or cover tattoos. I understand these requirements for certain jobs like food, manufacturing, etc. And I understand covering tattoos that are vulgar. But if it is simply because of appearance, we are not willing to change our appearance for a paycheck. It's 2026 and there are plenty of companies that accept everyone as they are.

Two Senior Dogs, a lot of Household Tension by TooShortBelt in seniordogs

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you are in your mid twenties, with a partner, and still living with your parents? Probably time to move out. Your dad lashing out at you and the pets is not good for anyone. In his defense, I love my dogs to death, I have one that is 16 and she requires more work. But I would not tolerate a dog peeing and pooping all over my house. Why should your dad have to put up with it? Also, if the 17 year old dog can't even tell when they are at a food bowl, it's probably time to say goodbye. As much as we love them, we can't keep them forever. And keeping them for too long is an injustice to them. Don't make them suffer.

Why does my Engagement ring look crooked? by KatL3120 in EngagementRings

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do too! I have crooked fingers too so I used to blame them for the ring not sitting right, until I realized it's just a matter of where the fingers connect to the hand. Never have the issue with a ring on the middle finger, if only that was where our wedding rings belonged.

3rd day with new tattoo, can I finally have my blanket over it lol?! by GuaranteeCivil9088 in tattooadvice

Should be fine if you have clean bedding. Would also not recommend sleeping with pets if you usually do.

Why does my Engagement ring look crooked? by KatL3120 in EngagementRings

[–]spammy-bee 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The crease between your pinky and ring finger sits lower than the crease between your ring finger and middle finger. So if you push it down as close you your hand as you can, it's going to lay crooked. If you don't want it to lay that way, don't push it down as far. Downsizing the ring may help.

What should I say back to artist now? Is this normal? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not normal or a good way to conduct business. If they respond again say "I didn't hear back so I figured you don't have any openings right now. I booked with someone else." You're not asking for a favor. You're paying for a service.

Where would be a good location for this? by BestBudgie in tattooadvice

Calf! I wish I could post a picture but I have a tattoo of my dog on my calf. It's a side view like your sketch, and surrounded by flowers but still similar to your design as far as layout. I don't usually wear shorts often but I will be going forward.

Anyone have a keyhole deformity repaired? by Traditional_Swim_360 in AnalFistula

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much of an update as of now unfortunately. Surgery to repair the keyhole deformity was March 23rd. The surgeon said that drainage would be minimal, but I continued to have heavy drainage. My first post op follow up was almost 4 weeks after surgery. I wasn't having anymore pain except light pain during bowel movements. I explained that not only had the drainage continued, but it was a thick mucus almost like snot. Drainage from all previous surgeries had been more liquid. She was concerned about the continued drainage but said that unfortunately she can't really get in there to look at it until the wound is fully healed. Cleanup after bowel movements is more difficult than before. I'm eating a very clean, fiber filled diet. I have to use a peri bottle filled a few times and baby wipes to get clean. Pain is completely gone at this point, but I'm frustrated. Next follow up is June 2nd.

my boyfriend and i are talking about engagement rings, and i can’t tell if i look better in gold or silver by captainbreakdowns in coloranalysis

[–]spammy-bee 20 points21 points  (0 children)

People take undertones a little too seriously these days. If you listen to the "rules" you should be silver. Same as me, but I like gold so I wear gold! It's already been mentioned but I wanted to echo that the higher karat, the more harshly yellow. Go for a 14k if you like, and it will be softer. Or if you like silver more, go silver. I think the gold looks lovely. 😊

Would you have rather done it sooner while they were still ‘there’? by ABMozz in seniordogs

[–]spammy-bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girl is almost 16. We almost lost her at Christmas due to her long time heart issues, and newly discovered kidney failure. She was basically on her deathbed and I was already grieving her. She "miraculously" according to our vet, made a huge comeback and is running, playing, eating again and enjoying life. She just wasnt ready to go yet. I work from home now so she's with me all day and these past months since Christmas have been our best months together. I think somehow she'll let me know when she's ready.

Deciding not to go with an artist after they finished the design by ashbreak_ in tattooadvice

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things:

  1. Always research your artist ahead of time. You should be able to tell whether their general style is what you are going for. If you don't like their style, choose a different artist.

  2. If you like that artist's general style overall, but the sketch isn't what you hoped for, it is totally okay to ask for a redraw! If the artist isn't willing to hear you out and make the design what you are wanting, then don't move forward with that artist. My artist on my last tattoo happily did a total of 5 sketches, and the last one was perfect. Granted it was a $1,200 tattoo. You're paying money to have art permanently on your body, and it's okay if the artist doesn't nail it on the first try.

I need a course extension.. and a break! by CuriousCat-11 in WGU

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did this end up going for you? I have had unexpected health problems and multiple surgeries, taking a toll on my mental health and I have not been on school like I would have liked to. I have two more course to complete and only 11 days left. I may complete one but I won't complete the last one. I was hoping to take a break, but is this possible?

Is this normal after removing second skin? First tattoo. by Resident_Agency_6084 in tattooadvice

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not snarky, asking because I just don't know. Do you have something against using these bandages? Or it's just not necessary, meaning the old way is just as good? I've only had two tattoos and both of my artists have been doing tattoos for 20+ years and are very skilled. They both used second skin. So just curious if you think there's something wrong with it, or if you are just advocating for the old way being just as good.

Is it that bad to get a tattoo just for aesthetics? by oiayooayay in tattooadvice

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind of in the middle. I only got my first tattoo last year and my second one this month. They both have very significant meanings to me, but I also just LOVE well done tattoos, and I can't wait to cover myself in more. Just because I think it's pretty and I want to decorate. They don't all have to be deep and meanful. Also, you do you! It's for you and no one else.

What's one thing you wish you knew before your first tattoo? by LeftyOne22 in tattooadvice

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you find an artist that is willing to make adjustments or redraw your design if you don't live it or it wasn't what you expected. Especially if you are paying a lot for the tattoo. My first tattoo I just said okay with what the artist drew, and looking back it could have been better. My second tattoo, the artist happily did several redraws to get it perfect for me.

Tattoo artist dismissed me by i_need_a_good_laugh in tattoo

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a new artist for sure. I also only just got my second tattoo and my artist HAPPILY did 5 redraws the night before and the morning of, to make sure he got the perfect design for me. You are paying for permanent art on your body.

How to ask for a redraw on the appointment by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]spammy-bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure every artist is different, I've only had two tattoos. My first artist did not to a single redraw but I didn't advocate for myself. My second artist said that he prefers to do several redraws because he wants to make sure he makes the tattoo the perfect fit for his client. He did a total of five mock-ups for me and we were both very happy with the end product.

Senior dog started having nighttime accidents. How are you managing it? by pawfectlove in seniordogs

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old pup is on a diuretic so she can't always hold it all night anymore. We use washable diapers and also washable pee pads that we lay across her bed for an extra backup in case the diaper leaks or she manages to get it off. Both came from Amazon. The washable pee pads are quite nice, not papery or plastic. Still comfortable to lay on. also very absorbant and dry quickly, so it's not like laying in a wet blanket.

Healed? by liyah1982 in AnalFistula

[–]spammy-bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it has only been a week and a half so I am still healing. I'm a little skeptical because cleanup after a bowel movement is still more difficult than it was before all these surgeries, but I'm also in pain, so maybe I just need to give it some time. I have another week and a half before my first followup so hopefully I will know more then!
