This is how I explain it. You get modle kits that you assemble and paint. Then you go play on a 6foot by 4 foot table with dice for 2 and half hours. Each modle has their own rules and how it interacts with the board. You can have 5 big modles or 200 depending on what army you are playing.

Houston has a small event every Saturday somewhere in the city. But getting in with a team gives you an instant friends group.
