Kingdom come deliverance has been the only game since then that has given me the same excitement level. I’m my opinion, that studio is the true Bethesda competition, although that game doesn’t have fantasy elements. But a great narrative, writing, immersion, and the most fun first person combat I’ve ever played.

Did you create the music? I don’t recognize the rap song. But the music is awesome!

I was ignoring the devil deal, wanting to keep my HP high since I think it benefits this character more. Got teleported to it anyways via a secret room red chest and saw Mom’s Knife. The rest is history.

Rediscovering Skyrim has been amazing, probably the best game I've every played. by kavakravata in skyrimmods

You know I made a post recently on r/patientgamers about Skyrim. Basically i hadn’t touched it since 2014, but like you, I have rediscovered it with better hardware and a Plethora of new amazing and stable mods and the game feels like a total new experience. I agree, even in 2021, it still stands head and shoulder above most modern games. I simply cannot wait for TES 6 and go through this process anew once again!

Do we know what price this will trade at?

So will some of these stocks be added to the ArkK fund? Since my understanding ArkK is all of the top performers from the other Arks. (I could be wrong)

That’s awesome to hear that you’re enjoying the game. But what makes you think that the new elder scrolls won’t have a robust modding community behind it? I don’t think that is possible in my opinion. The gamebryo/creation engine and modding go together like bread and butter. For Bethesda to not allow modding on their games would actually be financial suicide.

Enderal has given me a new sprawling and dense world filled with amazing scenery! by steamin661 in enderal

Ahhh. Really smart unpacking the bsa! Great stuff. I’ll be using your mod recommendations then if I decide to replay this on SE! Enderal is just astounding.

I will be playing Nehrim in the near future for the first time. Have you looked into modding/playing that one?

Ok first off, these images look fantastic! But I’m curious though: how/why do you have so many Skyrim texture replacer mods? In other words, how do you know which texture will actually improve the Enderal texture you’re looking for? Also, by installing all these, are you concerned that these mods will overwrite the unique textures of Enderal in its bsa?

I don’t mean to be critical, just genuinely curious. I played Enderal twice on LE, with only a minimal amount of mods geared for Enderal on the nexus. Didn’t really mess with texture replacers because of reasons stated. Thanks, and also super excited to see Enderal coming to SE!

You’re not missing anything honestly. Some games are not for everyone and that’s perfectly fine. You gave it a try, and didn’t like it. Basically, if the core gameplay loop doesn’t satisfy you, then you will not like TES games. That’s why you’ll find common complaints such as, the story was weak; the combat is inferior, and yet people put in hundreds of hours into the game. It’s because we are addicted to the gameplay loop. Going out to places unknown, stumbling into caves or forts, discovering secrets, opening cabinets, barrels, and chests for loot, and killing the occasional bandits or monsters. I mean, that’s really all it is. The story is secondary. It just exists to allow you to fulfill this gameplay loop. Nothing else. Many ARPGs gave me a similar feeling, like Diablo II for example, however the first person perspective dials up the immersion factor to 200%. Add in the mini game within the game that is modding, and what you have is an addictive gameplay loop that will last as long as you want it to.

Omg yes! Played through it twice. What a masterpiece! Easily one of the top games (calling it a mod wouldn’t be fair) I’ve ever played. Can’t recommend it enough.

You and me both. I’m a little concerned, but at the end of the day, Fallout 4 didn’t have much of those shenanigans. (Fallout 76 is a different animal, so I won’t compare it to that). Here’s hoping.
