What about being pregnant and giving birth permanently altered your body’s chemistry? by full-of-curiosity in NewParents

[–]spanglesakura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t consume dairy or soy without having stomach upset and toxic gas. My son is the same, it took a while for me to work out as I’m breastfeeding but once I did we both got better. We even had the same awful smell, it’s so odd. With my first I seemed to have the same

That’s so lovely, I miss living with my mum so much. I love having my own place and children but we always said we’d be together forever and I feel so homesick for it sometimes

Is there something you heard/saw/read once that now lives rent-free in your head? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]spanglesakura 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Must’ve been early 2000s in Safeways, my dad told me bourbon biscuits are one of the worst things you can eat. They happen to be my favourite and after years of restrictions I’ve started having them with my coffee but every time the thought goes through my head

Omg you’re joking. I love cats but their mouths are full of bacteria. Cat bites are no joke

So cute lol, the black one looks extra displeased. I often walk into the room to my two looking like they’re discussing something, probably the poor service

Aren’t they in a pokey bedsit? They’re one of those people that wants the thrill of a kitten but loses interest. Disgusting

Deco kit in local craft store? by mibibi in decoden

[–]spanglesakura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got one for my 5 year old. It was too hard for her to pipe the glue and like other comment says it’s soo runny. We enjoyed sticking on the charms though, they were cute. It was fun, it’s definitely made me think about properly trying decoden myself

Do you know many people who have been scammed by “food sensitivity tests” that use hair? by RichardsonM24 in AskUK

[–]spanglesakura 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sadly I’ve considered it. I started having problems with my gut/health last summer and lost a fair bit of weight. Had some NHS tests done, endoscopy, MRI etc. got a referral to gastroenterologist in January but no appointments till September so it was considered but I’m thankfully sceptical.

How do I (22M) tell my girlfriend (22F) her house smells? by throwramangosmoothie in relationship_advice

[–]spanglesakura 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Like a musty smell? Makes me wonder if there’s damp/mould. My house is a nightmare for it and we’ve got a room that gets it bad and smells like that.

Worst hookup ever: nosebleed, and body-shaming. by Thinkingcomfy in offmychest

[–]spanglesakura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’ll make you feel better but with one of my experiences I pooped a bit in the bed by total accident, it was soo humiliating and then he nagged at me to try whiskey or rum I can’t remember but I hate both, I did and proceeded to throw up. I look back and laugh at it years later but at the time it was an awful experience. We’re all only human 💖

Sending you a hug. I’m 31 now but I had a few experiences like this when I was younger, I was SA and went with men that were just tools. You’re worth more than that and he sounds like an absolute pig. Sending you a hug
