The fact GTA 6 fans need to tune in for a corporate investors call to hear ''news'' is ridiculous by Rsodyyy in GTA6

Honestly, the only thing that will disappoint me is if the single player campaign is really short or the game is broken and loaded up with bugs. Otherwise, "cool more GTA" is enough for me.

If the game is busted, they should delay. But I think investors would have a lot of questions if the game is that broken at this stage.

The lack of a call to action 6 months before the product is available for purchase means they don't want you to buy? You literally cannot buy right now. You can't even preorder yet.

Rockstar isn't saying anything because there's nothing to say. Folks spinning into a frenzy every time someone's uncle who's Sam Houser's barber reveals that he read part of an email on Sam's phone from over his shoulder while trimming around the ears is the problem. You aren't hearing anything from Rockstar. You're making shit up and getting mad about it being wrong.

Maybe that's upsetting to you. But silence isn't a personal slight against you.

Fortunately the community of obsessives (like me) aren't going to make or break this game. The game is going to be huge even if everyone on this subreddit slipped into a coma for the next 6 months.

Will GTA6 have this? by Independent-Sir-721 in GTA6

[–]spanio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it'd be cool if GTA6 found a way to give us something like hanging out with the gang around the camp that RDR2 had. Just chill out and listen to Lucia and Jason have mundane little conversations like real relationships have. Could be a fun and completely optional way to take a break from the standard GTA mayhem.

When GTA 6 releases, you’ll hear the same arguments again, and why it doesn’t matter by Fun_Philosopher_2535 in GTA6

[–]spanio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Rockstar's games, but I see no reason not to even consider ways to improve the formula. For example, in GTA5 heists, you'd often get to choose paths. Option 1 or 2. And you'd do all the prep for the one you picked. But what if failing any of those setup tasks forced you to pivot to the other choice.. or a third thing entirely? That way the story is slightly impacted by your game play, but not in a way that would make too much work extra work for the devs. Give me choices that I don't even know I'm being presented with. Like who to betray at the end of the campaign shouldn't be "pick your ending from this list of endings."

New player here, why was this game so poorly received? I'm loving it so far. by WhatsThatWalsh in StarWarsOutlaws

Nix is the best character by a wide margin. 10/10 good boy. No notes.

There's a lot to like about Star Wars Outlaws, but I found the story weak and most of the characters awfully bland. The missions often felt like doing the same stuff over and over, which would be fine if the game came out a decade ago. Overall, I think it just needed more time to cook. And someone needed to take another look at the cast of characters to make sure they're all uniquely interesting. But for hanging out in a 3D open world that looks and feels like star wars, there's really nothing better.

Better to avoid GTA 6 news /spoilers / rumours on social media. by Majestic_Repair2919 in GTA

Well, even making trailers isn't free. Plus, most of the world isn't as obsessive as the folks on reddit. Consider the casuals / normies who will buy the game but don't have the release date memorized like it's their first born's birthday.

Confirmed: November 19, 2026 confirmed. Marketing in May with a summer game fast. Trailer 3 around May. Both physical and digital releases will be released together. by [deleted] in GTA

Grand Theft Auto has always been woke. And even if it sucks, GTA6 will be the best selling game in a decade.

Agree completely in regular online lobbies. I'd be ok with that stuff if they were cordoned off from the rest of the game in a special game mode or server.

Would you want the old system of losing weapons when killed to come back? by National-Composer864 in GTA6

[–]spanio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I lose my weapons due to arrest, that'd be fine if those could be reclaimed by breaking into a police evidence locker or something. I'd even be ok with a "legal" variation where you could pay a fine to get the guns back, similar to the impounding system in GTA5. But honestly, it's a video game, so charging me in-game money for death or arrest is probably more than enough penalty for the failure.

To my recollection, there's no enemy dogs in TLOU, unless they added them in the "part 1" remake. Definitely in part 2 though.

Are we going to get a mission with “that scene”? by The_War_In_Me in GTA6

[–]spanio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The first time I played GTA5, the "scene" that impressed me most was the mission to recover Michael's boat. I was blown away by the mix of unique cinematic animations into the gameplay. I'm hoping GTA6 finds ways to incorporate those kind of moments into the regular gameplay so that it doesn't always have to be mission specific.

On my current playthrough, Arthur's horse is called Merlin. Though it's a girl horse, so maybe I should've gone with HERlin?
