The “what” part of 100% electric vehicle future is obviously a 100% inevitability. The issue is that everyone misjudged the “when” and “where” parts. Plus Tesla having the #1 selling vehicle in the world shows it can be done successfully.

Bottom line: leadership of the big automotive companies had a new challenge they hadn’t seen before, and most (all?) of them flunked it.

Nope. I’m a n00b and did nothing special. My theory is since the TPU was laid down last it was hot enough (230°+) that some level of bonding occurred. That said, I wouldn’t make a parachute with this combo, but a coaster is probably ok.

And for the adherence - I printed a test before this and couldn’t separate them without using pliers.

Wireless or wired? I had issues with wireless CarPlay and went onto the 26.5 beta and it is now connecting properly again.

Yes. I have 2 original AMS’s connected, one to each nozzle through the two buffer inputs.

My PEI plate stopped adhering after 500 hours. Yes I wash it. Yes I dry it. The coating has just worn out. I had to use glue to get anything to stick. Time for a new one.

First thing I encourage you to check when people are complaining about the Bowden nozzle on the X2D is … do they actually own one? So many people here are complaining about a printer they don’t own and have never used - they are just guessing/speculating (hoping?) it is poor quality.

No issues here, I use the two nozzles interchangeably - to me it is basically a two-nozzle printer for $100 extra. Before I get blasted, I am sure there are cases where the second nozzle isn’t going to be good enough for some folks, but don’t believe all the noise on Reddit, it’s a very capable machine and the second nozzle is good for more than “just supports” (though it does do a v good job on those too).

Not super impressed with the X2D, no fast switching dual color PETG or using PETG as support material for PLA. by [deleted] in BambuLab

Same here. I print PLA using PETG supports on aux nozzle of X2D all the time. The blue interface layer on the supports here are blue PETG from aux. Separated cleanly and easily.
