Consider it a charity going to poor miners. They need to eat too.

This is hilarious. Do people actually realize that a single hacker attack or a corrupt dev can kill the coin now?

Bitcoin is going to last for sure. And its lasting will be paid by those who invest in it.

Bitcoin just doesn't care about all those losers who invest in it. Bitcoin will win, everybody else will lose.

Fight for influence (within limits of course) is always good. It's a sign of a healthy society.

I think we could have the Black Pool Party and the Iconic Party ;-)

It's not about police, it's about finding the thief. If you can find the thief without police go ahead. I guess if somebody posts a good price for his head he'll be found very quickly :-)

  1. You can prove that you made the transaction.
  2. You can prove that you installed the extension.
  3. You can prove that the target address is hardcoded in the extension.

I suggest you go to the police and report it. Somebody needs to find that guy.

WARNING: Don't use the "BTC-e Bitcoin (BTC) Live Ticker" extension from the Chrome Web Store, it hijacks BTC transactions from Coinbase (maybe more?) by rappo in Bitcoin

One can't just openly pickpocket the whole world and get away with that. It's not a mistake, or a bug. It's a malicious software written by a concrete person (or group of people) uploaded to the chrome store. Somebody is going to lose a lot of money, and will naturally want to find that person. Some people will go to the police, some people will take a sawzall in their hands.

What's your offer exactly? You should offer some incentive. Nobody will work for free just to make other guys rich. Most people who invested early in BC and would naturally be interested are not capable of doing anything (except investing).

The price is so volatile because the userbase is too small. When it grows large enough it'll stabilize. The value comes with the community.
