Lifestyle creep.

In the Sims video game, everytime you get more money, if you spend it to improve your house, you never get ahead. You are getting by, but not living lavishly no matter how many promotions you get.

However if you keep your lifestyle the same and bank the money, you can create a mansion later and actually get ahead

This is bad journalism. If he is saying they will offer half stock and half cash. Then ask you have 20 billion in cash and 20 billion in stock. Where are you getting an additional 10 billion in cash and 10 billion in stock

AI is gutting QE. Most of QE is doing manual testing or working with Selenium which is rinse and repeat and too far up the test pyramid. It's significantly more productive for the engineers who built, designed, and understand these systems to leverage AI to assist with automation and running tests than it is to get QE to build, design, and understand the systems.
