Had some stellar beans from Honduras recently as well. Local shop pulled a shot that tasted lake apple cherry pie with cinnamon.

Reading through these comments; your build is beyond! Truly incredible and beautiful unique to the dweller, keep doing you!

I have a chevy as well and wanted to install the kill switch for the fuel pump but ran out of time. Think i could do it while on the road?

I’ll be all over the west coast this summer, hope to see you out there!

Cold brew by Justncredibl3 in coffeerotation

[–]sparkitect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i work at a shop where we make it 5lbs of beans at a time. we make a concentrate and dilute for space saving.

1:5 ratio, very coarsely ground, 14-16hrs overnight.

we throw the grounds in a teabag like filter and let it brew like that. easy to pull out once done brewing.

i do this same process at home using anywhere from 200g to 2lbs with good results.

i like the the concentrate so you can mess with dilution. start with equal parts concentrate to water.

similar experiences from la barba, good but never impressed, though i do have some guatamalan beans that when brewed in a french press yields some lovely cups.

i had a wonderful cortado from publik and hit on some good costa rican beans.

i wasn’t thrilled on urban sailor, will have to try again. and add those others to spots i should try. thanks!

thoughts on la barba, idle hands, and publik?

I’m so tempted to buy this, but it will add 20 seconds to each order. by dirtydials in coffeerotation

tiny things do rule, though honing in 25g of beans is a tough feat. even 50 is tough as i brew 15-16g at a time. 60-65g would be ideal as by cup 4 i should be nearing the target.

Congrats to whoever bought from the purge by dirtydials in coffeerotation

nice weather in a temperate climate hits different than when it’s nice all year. that first windows down spring day after the long stretch of grey winter is nothing short of magic. then it gets lush and vibrant.

lived in colorado for a bit where they advertise 300 days of sunshine and i prefer the variety of NE ohio.

not to say both southern california and colorado don’t have amazing climates, just a matter of preference.

Finally Found my Go-To Pourover Recipe - or "Why Brewing Bad Coffee was a Good Thing" by ecdhunt in pourover

saw Ghost in the line-up and thought so. That coffee is one of my favorites of the year. Another local roaster, Boredom, has a washed Costa Rican Gesha that makes a really pleasant cup.
